Webcam

Description​

Using camera connected to the machine internally or via USB, the Webcam tool captures images from the camera and sends them to the next tool in the flow.

Settings​

Webcam Index​

The index of the webcam to be used as input. If the user have only one webcam connected to the machine, the index should be 0.

Auto White Balance​

Whether to use auto white balance. Automatically corrects color shifts in images acquired.

Default White Balance Temperature​

Use the default white balance temperature, avoid setting the white balance. This could be useful when the camera fully supports white balance temperature, but not using the auto white balance.

White Balance Temperature​

This depends on the camera, typical values are between 2000 and 6500, but the minimum and maximum values are 0 and 10000, respectively.

Auto Exposure​

Whether to use auto exposure. Automatically adjust the exposure of the camera.

Default Exposure​

Use the default exposure value, avoid setting the exposure. This could be useful when the camera fully supports exposure, but not using the auto exposure.

Exposure​

This depends on the camera, typical values are between -11 and 1. The default value is 0.
